Pastor David grew up in Greensboro and served as a pastor in the Madison community for over eight years. God showed him the need for a contemporary style church in the Stokesdale community in 1998. In 1999, he and his family moved to Stokesdale to begin Crossroads Community Church.
David graduated from Page High School in 1980, and received a B.A. in economics from Wake Forest University in 1984, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1988.
He is an aspiring farmer, and a tutor of home school students. His hobbies include sailing, triathlons, woodworking, bad puns, and hiking. David and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Stephanie and Sarah.
